Home Creek Performance Horses is situated 30 minutes north of Kingaroy Queensland at a place named Tingoora. Our breeding operation is called Home Creek Performance Horses, named after the creek at the front of our property.  We only have been at Home Creek for a short time.  We bought the property with big plans for improvement and spend as much time as we can upgrading our facilities, which already includes building new stables and new horse yards and arena. We aim to run a large breeding facility and training center.

We feel our long time breeding program is on track with our two quality stallions Brooksipep (imp) and Rambler KD Acres (view on stallions page). We have a versatile band of broodmares with proven bloodlines and we take very careful consideration to breeding the best temperament, good looks, ability and cow sense, we want to cover all bases of performance including Stockmans Challenges, Cutting, Campdrafting, Reining and ASH Futurities. We have mares that are suited to the different sports and our stallions are versatile. We also have horses for sale to try and suit client’s needs in both the Australian Quarter Horse and Australian Stock Horse industries.

We both train Australian Stock Horses and Quarter horses for the public showing in Australian Stock Horse futurities, Australian Stockmans Challenges and Campdrafting. We break in horses and prepare horses for private sales and auction sales. We provide lessons and also conduct schools.

At the moment we have 16 broodmares, including bloodlines of Acres Destiny, Dogwood Comet, Docs Freckles Oak, Playboy Roy, Hazelwood Conman, Elliott’s Creek Cadet, Easter Chex, Acadia Chans, Abbey, Docs Spinfex, Peptos Stylish Oak and Mr Jessie James (view on mares-progeny page). We have bred these mares to our stallions as well as to outside stallions like Acres Destiny, Smarty’s High Card, Hazelwood Conman and Soda Bradman. Having two sires with different breeding, means we can breed mares from one sire to be put with the other. 'We are very proud of our foal crop this year with some lovely outstanding fillies by both sires'.

We also have an interest in working dogs and breed Border Collies, with the bloodlines they breed going back to Lithgow dogs.  We also inherited the love for breeding Quality Santa Gertrudis cattle from Belinda’s parents. At present have a small commercial breeding herd consisting of 40 cows and calves.
